Supporting Romania’s digital transformation

Amid the dotcom crisis in 2002, AROBS boldly decided to expand from software services to in-house product development and since then has never looked back

Offering both software services and product development, AROB’s tailor-made solutions support clients across a range of sectors, from travel and life sciences to automotives and enterprise solutions.

Over the past few years, this top-five Romanian IT firm has pursued international expansion and now has a presence in several countries, including Germany. AROB’s ability to provide bespoke, high-quality, end-to-end products on time and in budget is greatly valued by its German clientele, which includes one of the nation’s largest travel companies.

“We have recently focused more on building full turnkey projects, from specs to delivery, which is something German companies like a lot. We cover every aspect from beginning to end, and that is a differentiating trait of our company,” says AROBS CEO, Voicu Oprean.

“Furthermore, we create business partnerships with our clients; their success is our success. In Germany, we have a strong partnership with Continental, an extremely important client in the automotive industry. Other very important partners of AROBS in Germany are Hager Group and GIATA GMBH,” says Oprean.

Back home in Romania, the company is supporting the digital transformation of its home city of Cluj-Napoca, a thriving tech and start-up hub that has become a focal point for savvy investors looking to discover the next AROBS-like success story.
